Melissani's drowning

I desided to make an painting of a greek myth for the folklore contest.
Its made with ink on novopan (wood made of scobs).

I happen to have roots from a Greek Island called Kefalonia. There are many caves on the island and one of the stand on a lake.
The story has it that Melissani was a young and beautiful nymph that fell in love with great Zeus.He felt affection for her but unfortunately Ira his wife who was a Goddes didn't let him of her sight. Zeus desided that he didn't want to provoke Ira's anger so he abandoned Melissani. Devostated from her love she fell in the lake and left her self to drown. The lake and cave is called is called Melissani because of her.
